SEADRIF joined partners and peers at AlterCOP30 Spotlight Evening in Singapore for an energizing discussion on one of the most pressing challenges of our time: how to mobilize USD 1.3 trillion annually to close the global adaptation funding gap.

Ellen Yong, SEADRIF's Chief Operating and Financial Officer, moderated a panel which brought together multilateral, private, and academic perspectives to unpack what needs to change to unlock climate financing at scale—from clearer risk data and more coordinated public mechanisms to greater participation from private capital.

Discussions highlighted the importance of collaboration across governments, communities, and markets to build systems that are financially sustainable, equitable, and future-ready.

SEADRIF values the opportunity to contribute to discussions on climate adaptation and remains committed to advancing disaster risk solutions that help the region withstand and recover from crisis.
