"Innovation In Risk Finance: Modelling matters!" is the session from Understanding Risk Asia 2021. It is designed to disseminate insights and lessons learnt from innovative modelling work completed as part of the SEADRIF first flood insurance product. The session was moderated by Ms. Hang Thu Vu, The World Bank. SEADRIF Board Chair Mrs. Hauw Soo Hoon introduced SEADRIF and the first product. Afterwards, joined by Mr. Gary Rynsard, Executive Director and Board Member of SEADRIF and other experts to discuss how to improve the model and support better understanding of risk and strengthen financial resilience.
