Mr. Benedikt Signer, Executive Director and Board Director of the SEADRIF Insurance Company, attended the 2nd Regional Technical Workshop on Crop Insurance in Bangkok on 29-30 October. SEADRIF would like to thank the organizers: the Department of Agriculture in Thailand, Mekong Institute, and Sanyu Consultants Inc., for the invitation to this important event. SEADRIF is encouraged to be recognized as the regional initiative that could potentially support integrating crop insurance and climate risk financing into the ASEAN Post-2025 vision. Joining agricultural leaders and policymakers from the ASEAN Member States (AMS), Mr. Benedikt Signer shared an update on SEADRIF’s development and contributed to discussions focusing on strengthening crop insurance programs to bolster climate resilience and food security in Southeast Asia.
