Originally from Malaysia and having built a distinguished career across New Zealand’s legal and governance sectors, Ms. Johnson brings a valuable blend of regional insight and international depth to the Board.

“I look forward to working with SEADRIF on its Board to champion its critical role in disaster risk financing across ASEAN+3. Pre-arranged funding solutions are essential for enabling swift recovery, strengthening preparedness and reducing hardship.

I hope to play my part in advancing resilience strategies that better protect our communities across the region,” Ms. Johnson said.

We warmly welcome Ms. Johnson and look forward to her contributions in enhancing SEADRIF’s governance and strategic direction as we further develop disaster risk financing solutions for the region.
